The Worship Radio Network is a listener supported organization. We exist to reach the people within the state of Maine for the purpose of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as well as, building and encouraging the listener’s faith through Christian music.
In 1994, God called Ray and Susanne Bouchard to begin the Worship Radio Network in Augusta, Maine when a friend donated the parent station, WMDR-AM.
Today, the Network offers three distinctive music formats – Contemporary Christian on Worship FM, Christian Country and Southern Gospel on God’s Country and Children’s Programs plus uplifting Inspirational music on “The Arrow”.
According to recent studies and polls, northern New England is the most unchurched region in the United States today. Less than 30 percent of those who call New England home are affiliated with a local church or Christian denomination – making the role of Christian radio and Internet even more essential in this region.
